Crisis Line Advocate 3pm-11pm
(Monday-Friday | Full-Time)

The Crisis Line Advocate is an in-person position, providing crisis line services for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault, as well as conducting intakes with resident and non-resident clients. This employee provides on-site shelter coverage and assistance as needed within the general framework of Noah Project. Regularly scheduled hours are Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm; some flexibility may be required. Includes on-call rotation and holiday rotation.

Weekend 3pm-11pm Crisis Line Advocate
(Part-Time 16 hours weekly)

The Weekend 3-11 Crisis Line Advocate is an in-person position, providing crisis line services for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault, as well as conducting intakes and assisting resident and non-resident clients. This employee provides on-site shelter coverage and assistance as needed within the general framework of Noah Project. Regularly scheduled hours are 3pm-11pm (Saturday and Sunday).

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Receive crisis calls and provide immediate crisis intervention for all victims of domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault.
  2. Perform Lethality Assessment Protocols in coordination with law enforcement for safety planning.
  3. Complete intake and exit interviews and complete all required documentation on residents and non-resident clients.
  4. Assist residents in settling into the shelter
  5. Assist clients’ immediate needs and refer them to appropriate resources, or utilize Noah resources.
  6. Control access to the facility by residents, non-residents, and visitors, oversee the security system, and follow all security procedures.
  7. Complete documentation, data/statistical entry, and any other required paperwork on a timely basis, to include maintaining client and administrative files.
  8. Ensure residents are following shelter guidelines and responsibilities—chores, quiet hours, etc.
  9. Attend trainings as scheduled.
  10. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary, including but not limited to: clerical duties, assisting with shelter program activities, conferences, fundraisers, and training.

 

Salary $15.50 hourly

Family Therapist II

The Family Therapist is an in-person position responsible for individual, family, group, and emergency crisis intervention counseling to victims and secondary victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. The therapist will apply clinical techniques and strategies to evaluate, counsel, and guide individuals, and help clients to achieve personal wellness, career development, mental well-being, and healthy relationships.

Essential Job Functions for victims of sexual assault (100% SAPCS funding):

  1. Provide individual counseling assessment to victims of sexual assault

B Provide ongoing individual crisis counseling relative to trauma and recovery for adult and child sexual assault victims.

  1. Facilitate weekly sexual assault support group.
  2. Maintain up-to-date files on clients
  3. Collect demographic data to maintain grant statistics
  4. Coordinate and plan age-appropriate group counseling for children experiencing sexual assault.
  5. Evaluate the ongoing progress of each sexual assault individual involved in counseling.
  6. When needed, consult with Noah Project staff members on victims of sexual assault referred to counseling
  7. Provide periodic training to Noah Project staff members on sexual assault, as well as on working with victims of sexual assault with mental health issues
  8. Develop working relationships with other mental health professionals and mental health facilities in our area to have a referral source for individuals who have experienced sexual assault who need more intensive treatment
  9. Provide individual, family, and group counseling assessment and emergency crisis intervention for victims of sexual assault.

 

Preferred Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master’s Degree in counseling or therapy from an accredited college or university.
  2. Professional license in counseling or therapy.
  3. Experience in the field of sexual assault
  4. Experience working with adults and children in crisis
  5. Experience providing individual, family, and group counseling for primary and secondary victims of sexual assault

 

Salary to commiserate with experience and licensure; $55,000.00 – $72,000.00 annually.
