Primary Prevention Specialist

Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate primary prevention presentations with schools in Noah Project 10-county service area.
- Facilitate speaking presentations on family violence, primary prevention, and character education in schools; coordinate with the Primary Prevention Director to ensure that other requests for speakers are fulfilled. Presentations include all prevention programs.
- Develop/revise all primary prevention curricula and programs to be used in schools.
- Support Community Awareness initiatives by attending resource fairs, etc. with Noah Project materials.
- Cross-train with advocacy department, assist with adult and children’s activities for residents and non-residents.
Salary: $17 hourly
Family Therapist
The Family Therapist is responsible for individual, family, group, and emergency crisis intervention counseling to victims and secondary victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. The therapist will apply clinical techniques and strategies to evaluate, counsel, and guide individuals, and help clients to achieve personal wellness, career development, mental well-being, and healthy relationships.

Essential Job Functions
- Provide individual and family counseling assessment to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
- Provide ongoing individual crisis counseling relative to trauma and recovery for adults and children.
- Facilitate weekly adult and child domestic violence support groups.
- Maintain up-to-date files on clients.
- Collect demographic data to maintain grant statistics.
- Coordinate and plan age-appropriate group counseling for children experiencing domestic violence.
- Evaluate the ongoing progress of each individual involved in counseling.
- When needed, consult with Noah Project staff members on clients referred to counseling services.
- Provide periodic training to Noah Project staff members on trauma-informed mental health needs and best practices.
- Develop working relationships with other mental health professionals and mental health facilities in our area in order to have a referral source for individuals who need more intensive treatment or a higher level of care.
- Provide individual, family and group counseling assessment and emergency crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking within rural service areas.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in counseling or therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Professional license in counseling or therapy.
- Experience in the field of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
- Experience working with adults and children in crisis.
- Experience providing individual, family and group counseling for primary and secondary victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Skills / Abilities

Salary: $47,840-$70,000 dependent on experience level and licensure status
Weekend 11pm-7am Crisis Line Advocate
Part-Time: 16 Hours Weekly
The Weekend 11pm-7am Crisis Line Advocate (overnight Friday and Saturday) is an in-person position, providing crisis line services for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault, as well as conducting intakes and assisting resident and non-resident clients. This employee provides on-site shelter coverage and assistance as needed within the general framework of Noah Project. Regularly scheduled hours are 11pm-7am (overnight Friday and Saturday)
Salary: $16 hourly
Primary Prevention Director
Classification: Exempt
Essential Job Functions: Primary Prevention
- Supervise the coordination of primary prevention presentations with schools in Noah Project’s service area.
- Supervise and conduct speaking presentations on domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and prevention in schools and ensure that other requests for speakers are fulfilled in Noah Project’s 10-county area.
- Supervise the development (and revise and/or update as needed) of all primary prevention curricula and programs to be used in schools.
- Conduct or coordinate the hiring and training of Primary Prevention staff, including continuing education at conferences, etc.
- Create and maintain facilitator schedules for primary prevention presentations within our service area schools.
- Work closely with the school districts in the service area.
- Support Community Education initiative by attending and/or coordinating staff to attend resource fairs and community awareness events, etc. and ensure that display tables have adequate materials and facilitator coverage.
- Ensure staff maintains ongoing statistical data for schools served, including numbers served, dates served, amount of time served, outcome surveys and results.
- Ensure grant reports are submitted in a timely manner.
- Review and submit for approval timesheets, mileage requests, leave requests, and travel requests for PP staff.
- Assist in planning and execution of grant applications for prevention programs.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Essential Job Functions BIPP (Battering Intervention & Prevention Program)
- Lead an accredited Battering Intervention and Prevention Program
- Conduct or coordinate the hiring and training of BIPP Facilitator
- Coordinate all administrative and supervisory responsibilities to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the program, including assisting with funding applications for the program
- Providing client contacts, including intakes/orientations and exits,
- Providing direct supervision to the group facilitator and providing secondary group facilitation,
- Completing and submitting required reports,
- Ensure adequate payment handling and tracking,
- Maintain files, including database and statistical information,
- Maintain required communication with probation officers, courts, CPS contacts, and other criminal justice personnel to ensure participants’ accountability,
Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course of study in education, development, public relations, communication, social sciences, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in a professional position related to this job description.
- Experience in the supervision of staff.
- Reliable transportation to travel throughout the 10-county service area
Salary: $52,000-54,000 annually
Weekday 3pm-11pm Crisis Line Advocate
Classification: Non- Exempt
Essential Job Functions
- Receive crisis calls and provide immediate crisis intervention for all victims of domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault.
- Perform Lethality Assessment Protocols in coordination with law enforcement for safety planning.
- Complete intake and exit interviews and complete all required documentation on residents and non-resident clients.
- Assist residents in settling into the shelter
- Assist clients’ immediate needs and refer them to appropriate resources, or utilize Noah resources.
- Control access to the facility by residents, non-residents, and visitors, oversee the security system, and follow all security procedures.
- Complete documentation, data/statistical entry, and any other required paperwork on a timely basis, to include maintaining client and administrative files.
- Ensure residents are following shelter guidelines and responsibilities—chores, quiet hours, etc.
- Attend trainings as scheduled.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary, including but not limited to: clerical duties, assisting with shelter program activities, conferences, fundraisers, and training.
Salary: $15 hourly + .50 shift differential
Weekend 3pm-11pm Crisis Line Advocate
Part-Time 16 hours weekly
